![]() It’s still not a bad game, even despite being on the weaker end of the collection. Also, the only game with a Voice Acting, which is truly terrible. ![]() Fixes the map and keeps the structure, but design overall isn’t as tight – with bad ideas and mediocre execution when comparing to the rest of the series. ZX is a MegaMan game with a Metroidvania twist! And it quite works! Map and navigation is absolutely horrible, but world is very inviting and gameplay innovations help forge a distinct and fun identity. Mega Man X Legacy Collectionīut the conclusion is definitely worth checking out, with a Tier A emotional ending. It break few things along the way and story has a definite “aftermath” taste after Zero 3. Zero 4 is a small step-down, but still a very good title. It’s also the place where story and atmosphere get on the highest gear and satisfy with surprising subtlety and grace. Zero 3 should be considered as a member of the Pantheon of the most tight, clever and carefully designed plaftorming games in history. Second game at least improves upon those bad systems, so it’s not all gloom and doom. Zero 2 is the least favorite of mine from the collection because of some lackluster, unfair level designs and annoying to use weapons. It has excellent and strong, oppressive atmosphere, but also has a lot of systems that don’t gel well yet. ![]() Collection’s quality varies a little bit between included titles: As the game has been modified to fit everything onto a single screen, the players now have the option to position these controls. The dual-screen controls from Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent are back. The original Game Boy Advance aspect ratio is preserved on the marginally larger Nintendo DS screens by placing a black border around the gameplay area in each title. All art collected in this way becomes available for viewing in the game’s Gallery menu. During a boss fight, for instance, concept artwork of the enemy will appear on the bottom screen throughout the battle. Primary gameplay takes place of the top screen of the Nintendo DS, while the extra bottom screen displays static artwork relevant to the portion of the game the player has reached. Players may also map the game’s controls to accommodate for the Nintendo DS’s two extra buttons compared to the Game. A new “Easy Scenario” mode decreases the overall difficulty of every title by granting many power-up items and abilities from the beginning, which saves the player from having to obtain them through normal means. The individual systems of each title are retained in the collection, with the addition of new features such as the ability to play through all games in order as one cohesive story. Mega Man Zero Collection is a compilation of Mega Man Zero, Mega Man Zero 2, Mega Man Zero 3, and Mega Man Zero 4, a series of 2D action platformer games originally for the Game Boy Advance that emphasize dashing, jumping, and dispatching enemies with various weapons. Mega Man Zero ZX Legacy Collection Gameplay If we just talk of the zero part, but with the inclusion of zx is totally worth it. It has good lore (I know that no one plays mega man for the lore), good mechanics (except the level system) and a pretty challenging gameplay without being that hard. This an unique experience for all the mega man games, as lots of people will agree, this is the best saga of all mega man experience ever created. Everything I adore about Mega Man is here great art, dramatic gameplay, story and music, what’s more to ask for? Lots and lots of nostalgia, yet new to me enough to be both high satisfying and fairly addicting. These games are immediately engaging, fast, fun and brilliantly made entries to the Mega Man franchise. So I’d consider myself a lifelong avid, ardent and passionate fan).
